Science Week provides an opportunity to spotlight HMRI, tapping into audience interest in science at a relevant time. The campaign leveraged tailor-made content, media engagement, and a star attraction—the Poo Palace at Hunter Science Festival.

The Brief

Hunter Medical Research Institute sought to:

 

  • Celebrate science and technology through National Science Week.

  • Increase brand awareness, engage the community, and collect data for future outreach.

The Solution

Use National Science Week as a vehicle to engage the Hunter New England community with science based content and activities. 

The campaign unleashed the Poo Palace at the Hunter Science Festival, a giant, inflatable digestive system where kids (and adults) voyage through each stage of the digestive journey – from tongue to toilet!
